From education to the environment, business to banking, housing to health care, it seems that there is no issue in the world that the industrialized western democracies cannot reduce to a simplistic paradigm of “liberal” vs “conservative.” In fact, this point has been so hardwired into the modern political system that it has been distilled into a childlike shorthand: political positions are “left” or “right,” “blue” or “red.” These convenient, color-coded political choices infantilize the political process, making the public little more than spectators at a sporting event, rooting for one team or another without even having to understand the issues being debated.
Nowhere has this process of simplification become so refined as it has in the United States of America, sometimes laughingly referred to as the “leaders of the free world.”

The Truth about The Social Contract

The social contract is a concept that liberals and conservatives
interpret as very different things. Those who consider themselves liberals tend to use
the term in a positive sense,
to encompass ideals of social responsibility and social justice,
both of which are loaded terms in their own right. Conservative tend to interpret
the social contract as an extension of collectivism, therefore viewed as an
invalid training construct.
Most of the time this debate doesn’t go far beyond these two multiple choice options,
that’s unfortunate because this is a false dichotomy, there are more than two ways
of looking at this.
Like it or not, the way we can see the social contract or the lack thereof
has a massive influence on the way society is organized. So it’s in our best
interest to reexamine our assumptions on the topic.So, what is a social contract, short answer is that the social contract is a set of
expectations established by a group and forced on it’s members.
The term was first popularized by the French philosopher jean-jacques Rousseau,
during the Enlightenment period Rizzo’s concept of the social contract was
unapologetically collectivism by force. People claim that individuals should
merge their rights and there will, to society at large, for the greater good and that those who do not bend to
the will of the majority, should be forced to submit.
Rarely are modern proponents of the social contract as honest as this,
but in practice nothing’s really has changed. In modern times a majority,
or more accurately, the elected officials a majority, wish to establish public
programs and need to fund those programs, it is generally understood
that this will be made possible through taxation.
Of course people who buy into this line of thinking promote the idea that people
should happily pay taxes, after all it is our duty, there’s that social contract that we’re all a
part of but the unspoken reality here is, that those who aren’t enthusiastic
volunteers, will be forced to pay. If you refuse to you’ll have your property confiscated
and/or be drawn into a cage for a decade or two, no big deal right.
Now the current way that most people frame this debate is a false dichotomy,
because though, the political right does not acknowledge it, the fact of the matter is that
they have their own versions of the social contract and philosophically it’s identical at its core.
The majority in the political right, supports forced taxation, they just have a different concept
of where the stolen money should be spent. They also support collectivism by force in the
form of the legislative executive and judicial systems, so they don’t generally see it as such.
The problem here is that people are not being honest about the implications
of their politics. The social contract as it is right now is a set of rules imposed by force
upon people were given no choice to opt out.
Those rules change constantly, because new laws are being written all the time.
It is assumed that if you’re born within a specific country, the government ruling
that geographical region has the right to impose requirements restrictions on
your life.
We’re talking about force taxation, compulsory schooling, registering for
military draft, mandatory vaccinations,
the underlining issues are still the same, the method serves to refer to the Constitution as
the point of reference for the assumption that this changes the dynamic,
it really doesn’t, the constitution is often referred to as a document designed to
restrict government.
What most people overlook, is the fact that the constitution, was first and foremost
used to create government with the understanding that this government would
have power over the citizens.
But did the people who wrote the Constitution
have the right to give the government that power? In order for the contract to be
valid, those who it claims to bind, must agree to it in full awareness of the terms.
In other words, there must be informed consent, any contract that fails to meet these
conditions is invalid and therefore has no real or legitimate powers, even if that contract is
well written, and noble in it’s intentions.

So even though the federal government is clearly abusing its power, it’s claims of
legitimacy of rooted in the Constitution.
So it is extremely important to question whether that claim is valid.
Some use vague notions of democracy to try to get around this issue, but this really
doesn’t hold up.
If eleven people are in a room and 10 people vote to take the eleventh persons wallet and
distribute it’s contents is this valid ? If not then why would be valid on a larger
scale?
Even if 100 percent of the population view the electoral process as legitimate
participating, which is clearly not the case, still wouldn’t change the
underlying morality theft is theft, regardless of how popular it is.
Now on the other side to this, all societies gravitate towards rules.
Humans tend to want structure, they want violent crime to be dealt with consistently
and justly, they want certain activities like child slavery
and child pornography to be prohibited.
Most people don’t want their neighbor to be dumping poisons into the ground seeping
into the water.
This tendency to want to establish societal norms will manifest
whether you like it or not and regardless of whether you see deep
philosophical problems with it or not.
Be honest there are philosophical Problems here but in practical terms we have
to deal with people as they are,
and not as we wish they would be, there for the question is really how this tendency
will manifest in how we deal with it.
In the current paradigm, both the political left and the political
right endorse collectivism by force without informed consent.
So what would be the alternative how can we address this tendency towards societal
rules with out degrading back into what we have now?
Say a group of people establish a club, and with it
a set rules and they open up membership to the public if the rules are clear and
membership is voluntary,
then this would be a valid arrangement, as long as the members can choose to walk away at any
time.
If we were to talk about this on a societal level membership would be
citizenship.
Of course this implies a citizenship and the duties and/or protections that may
come with it
cannot be imposed upon a child and then assumed to be valid to that person’s adulthood.
Citizenship must be conscious choice made in full awareness of the terms.
Parents can not make that decision for their children, at least not for their whole lives,
nor would it be a legitimate from this perspective, to have a gavel of so-called
lawmakers writing new laws willy nilly, writing new laws changes the terms of the
contract.
Changing the terms of the contract inherently invalidate that contract,
unless people voluntarily sign on to the new terms. Now this is a
radically different way of looking at human societies and it is not something
that could just be superimposed over current system.
In fact fully coming to terms with it’s implications will inherently break the
current system.
Because with it comes the realization, that the government is operating on a invalid
contact, and their so called authority is little more than a self-serving fantasy.
Once you see that, why would you obey them. In the early stages you may give in to fear
their enforces, but when the enforcers begin to wake up, it’s over.
This whole topic may seem to you to be like a
pointless philosophical exercise, but consider for a moment where we’re headed
as a society today.

the entire planet is going to be destabilizing when this comes down,
many nations will crash’
How are we going to rebuild,
are we going to blindly recreate the current system from the same flawed paradigm
or worse, do it on a global scale, or will we learn from our mistakes.

about this right now.

People in the northwestern city of Peshawar in Pakistan are burying their dead after a Taliban attack at a school killed at least 145 people — including 132 children — in the Taliban’s deadliest attack to date. According to the Pakistani army, Tuesday’s attack was carried out by seven Taliban attackers against the Army Public School, which both military and civilian girls and boys attend. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has declared three days of mourning and convened a meeting of all parliamentary parties in Peshawar to discuss the response to the attack. The army has reportedly launched attacks at militants in the region. The Taliban said they targeted the children of military families in retaliation for Pakistan’s anti-Taliban campaign in North Waziristan.

#Ferguson shows the system is broken and the majority of people involved in the protests do not understand where their true grievance lies. The grand jury had to prove that Officer Darren Wilson was NOT in reasonable fear for his life during the confrontation with Michael Brown. This is impossible to do because 1) you cannot disprove Wilson’s claims that he felt his life was being threatened and 2) the law defining “reasonable fear” that an officer is being threatened by a suspect is so broad that it allows police officers to have too much leeway when it comes to choosing excessive or deadly force against suspects. In fact, nearly all a police officer has to do is claim their felt threatened and they fall under this legal protection.
Right now thousands of people are in Ferguson protesting when their energy would be better spent working to change the legal definition of reasonable fear as it applies to police officers and file a wrongful death civil case against Darren Wilson as soon as possible.
The family of Michael Brown even stated themselves that there be a campaign to change the legal loophole that allows police officers to use deadly and/or excessive force against suspects based on their belief that their life is threatened and not proof that they are in danger.
But then again, these logical solutions do not sell headlines or clicks to websites; nor do they necessitate any protests which would put the provocateurs out of a job and send the tabloid journalists and broadcasters home from Missouri without a juicy scoop to use to scare their audience.

The G20 meeting that just ended in Australia was a total defeat for the cabal and its agenda, multiple sources say. The cabal tried to use the Ukraine as an excuse to start war against Russia as a way to rebuild Western economies and keep itself in power. However, instead, the French, British and Germans abandoned the cabal controlled Americans and joined with the vast majority of the planet to support a BRICS led initiative for a new Marshall plan for the planet, the sources say. The attempts to inflame the sentiment for war using the Ukraine and ISIS went nowhere with most world leaders.The BRICS and APEC summits week ended up focusing on stopping tax evasion by multinational corporations and increasing resources for fighting poverty and ending environmental destruction.
Furthermore, the US military has been in a state of shock and demoralization after a top of the line Aegis class US warship was turned into a crippled sitting duck in the Black Sea earlier this year, according to French and other reports.
As a Russian general explained “the more complicated an electronic system is, the easier it is to interfere with it.” The obvious implication here is that much of the US military’s highly computerized military equipment can all be electronically scrambled, making it no more dangerous than refrigerators. It is as if that Arthur C. Clarke 1951 science fiction story “Superiority,” about an army that lost because of its reliance on untested high tech equipment, has come true. That story used to be mandatory reading for US military officers.
In any case, the Russians and others are saying that when the Russian navy stationed a fleet near the G20 meeting in Australia the Americans were too scared to send their own fleet to respond.

Moscow has warned Washington a potential policy shift from supplying Kiev with “non-lethal aid” to “defensive lethal weapons”, mulled as US Vice President visits Ukraine, would be a direct violation of all international agreements.
A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that reports of possible deliveries of American “defensive weapons” to Ukraine would be viewed by Russia as a “very serious signal.”
“We heard repeated confirmations from the [US] administration, that it only supplies non-lethal aid to Ukraine. If there is a change of this policy, then we are talking about a serious destabilizing factor which could seriously affect the balance of power in the region,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Aleksandr Lukashevichcautioned.
Lithuania has decided to provide limited military aid to Ukraine following a meeting between Presidents Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine and Dalia Grybauskaite of Lithuania in Kiev. The move aims to bolster military cooperation between the two states.
“We have agreed on the supply of armaments for the Ukrainian armed forces,” Poroshenko said, after talks with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite on Monday.
Poroshenko added that the aid constituted “real help,” though he did not clarify if it was for lethal or non-lethal equipment. Read more:

To that end, let’s start by talking about what happens in your brain as you take on a new skillset before moving onto some of the scientifically effective ways to learn.
How Your Brain Changes As You Learn a New Skill
Every time you learn something new, your brain changes in a pretty substantial way. In turn, this makes other parts of your life easier because the benefits of learning stretch further than just being good at something. As The New Yorker points out, learning a new skill has all kinds of unexpected benefits, including improving working memory, better verbal intelligence, and increased language skills.
Likewise, as you learn a new skill, the skill actually gets easier to do. Cornell University explains what’s going on:
Specifically, training resulted in decreased activity in brain regions involved in effortful control and attention that closely overlap with the frontoparietal control and dorsal attention networks. Increased activity was found after training, however, in the default network that is involved in self-reflective activities, including future planning or even day dreaming. Thus, skill mastery is associated with increased activity in areas not engaged in skill performance, and this shift can be detected in the large-scale networks of the brain.
Essentially, the more adept you become at a skill, the less work your brain has to do. Over time, a skill becomes automatic and you don’t need to think about what you’re doing. This is because your brain is actually strengthening itself over time as you learn that skill. Scientific American breaks it all down like so:
Many different events can increase a synapse’s strength when we learn new skills. The process that we understand best is called long-term potentiation, in which repeatedly stimulating two neurons at the same time fortifies the link between them. After a strong connection is established between these neurons, stimulating the first neuron will more likely excite the second.
In addition to making existing synapses more robust, learning causes the brain to grow larger. Optical imaging allows researchers to visualize this growth in animals. For instance, when a rat learns a difficult skill, such as reaching through a hole for a pellet of food, within minutes new protrusions, called dendritic spines, grow on the synapses in its motor cortex, the region that allows animals to plan and execute movements.
The more connections between neurons are formed, the more we learn, and the more information we retain. As those connection get stronger, the less we have to think about what we’re doing, which means we can get better at other facets of a set of skills.
We’re still learning about learning. So, while we can see how learning skills affects the brain, we’re still digging into exactly why it happens and all the benefits of doing so. As the old saying goes, practice makes perfect, but how we practice is just as important as if we’re practicing.
