We fear and hate many of truth’s disclosures because they’re often accompanied by narcissistic insults. What’s a narcissistic insult? History records how truth has threatened our self-regard. People of the 16th Century ignored the new scientific findings and clung to their ego-gratifying illusion that the earth was the center of the universe. Three centuries later, Charles Darwin delivered a narcissistic insult when he considered the likelihood that man had descended from ancient apes, a prospect that horrified the proud architects of the Industrial Age. Four decades later, another profound narcissistic insult was leveled when Sigmund Freud contended, in The Interpretation of Dreams, that much of our mental and emotional life at any given moment is unconscious. Our ego, that self-centered me that pretends to know us intimately, was gravely insulted. George Bernard Shaw remarked soon afterwards: “All great truths begin as blasphemies.”

A leaked phone conversation between Victoria Nuland, assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, and Geoffrey Pyatt, the US ambassador to Ukraine, has exposed the anti-democratic and colonialist character of the Obama administration’s intervention in the former Soviet republic.
The phone conversation between Assistant Secretary of State Nuland and Ambassador Pyatt apparently took place late last month, after President Viktor Yanukovych offered the posts of prime minister and deputy prime minister to opposition leaders Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Vitali Klitschko, respectively.
Referring to Klitschko, head of the UDAR (Strike) party, which has close financial ties with Germany’s ruling conservative party, Nuland tells the ambassador: “I don’t think Klitsch should go into the government. I don’t think it’s necessary, I don’t think it’s a good idea.” Pyatt agrees, saying, “let him stay out and do his political homework.”
Nuland continues: “Yats [Yatsenyuk] is the guy that who’s got the economic experience, the governing experience.” Pyatt later warns Nuland that “Klitschko has been the top dog” within the opposition, and that she will need to “move fast on all this stuff” and speak with the UDAR leader as part of their “personality management” of the opposition leadership.
The utter criminality of Washington’s drive to install a pliant regime in Kiev sharply emerges in Nuland and Pyatt’s discussion of Oleh Tyahnybok, the leader of the neo-fascist All-Ukrainian Union (Svoboda) party. Nuland describes Tyahnybok as one of the “big three” within the opposition leadership. The State Department operative goes on to tell Pyatt that “what [Yatsenyuk] needs [after he is installed in office] is Klitsch and Tyahnybok on the outside—he needs to be talking to them four times a week.”
These remarks confirm that there is no confusion whatsoever within the Obama administration that it is working in partnership with fascist movements in Ukraine.
Ukraine accused Russia of staging an “armed invasion” of Crimea on Friday as the ex-Soviet state’s ousted leaderprepared to emerge defiantfrom five days of hiding after winning protection from Moscow.

The Kremlin will act to protect the millions of Ukrainians and Russian citizens who are at risk from the fascists and anarchists in general.
Ukrainian Jews, on the other hand, are speaking out loudly now that Kiev is descending into anarchy.

The transition agreement toward elections that was brokered on Friday between European Union ministers and Yanukovich was immediately broken by the Ukrainian fascists, according to my sources. Yanukovich then fled the capital, and law and order in the streets left with him. So did the safety of Ukraine’s Jews.
Rabbis in Kiev and across Ukraine spoke out, warning their congregations to stay off the streets and remain in their homes. The Jewish Agency in Jerusalem has moved swiftly to offer aid to elderly Jews living in greater Kiev. Food-delivery men are braving gunshots and Molotov cocktails to help them. Reports from Kiev say the police have been replaced by roving bands of undetermined loyalty.
Jewish organizations worldwide and the state of Israel regard the appeals from Ukraine as grave and immediate.
The fresh report of the firebombing of a new synagogue in Zaporizhia, 250 miles southeast of Kiev, increased the alarm in Israel and accelerated planning for all contingencies, including evacuations.

Moscow delivered a damning indictment of post-revolutionary Ukraine on Monday, denouncing alleged discrimination of the ethnic Russian minority, accusing the west of sponsoring a takeover of the country by “terrorists” and “extremists”, and clashing with Washington over plans for early elections in May.
“Russia is extremely concerned about the situation in Ukraine,” said a foreign ministry statement, which followed the highest-level reaction from Moscow so far to the collapse of Viktor Yanukovych’s presidency. Dmitry Medvedev, the prime minister and former president, accused the post-Yanukovych authorities and parliament of lacking legitimacy.

The Russian foreign ministry statement pressed all the buttons that will have the west and Kiev alarmed about ethnic and religious strife fracturing the country in two. It complained that ethnic Russian rights were already being violated after the parliament rescinded the status of Russian as a second language.
“Referring merely to revolutionary expediency, [the parliament] is imposing decisions and laws aimed at repressing the human rights of Russian and other national minorities. There are even calls for a complete ban of the Russian language,” it said.
Moscow opposed plans for early elections in May, calling first for constitutional changes and a referendum. This contrasted with the stance of the US state department, which announced that William Burns, the senior diplomat credited with engineering a recent breakthrough in US relations with Iran, would travel to Kiev. It said Burns would “urge the new government to take all steps necessary for free and fair presidential elections in May. He will urge the rapid formation of a national unity government.”
The Russian statement on Monday said events in Ukraine since the weekend “discredit the initiators and their guarantors [EU], threaten civic peace, social stability and public safety. We are bound to note that several of our western partners show no concern for the fate of Ukraine, but for one-sided geopolitical calculations. There is no sign of real assessment of the criminal acts of extremists, including neo-Nazis and antisemites.”

Putin: Kiev protests have nothing to do with Ukraine-EU relations, prepared ahead of elections
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that riots in Kiev have no direct relation to Ukraine and the EU deal, but rather it’s an attempt by the opposition to undermine the country’s legitimate government.
“As far as the events in Ukraine are concerned, to me they don’t look like a revolution, but rather like ‘pogrom’. However strange this might seem, in my view it has little to do with Ukrainian-EU relations,” Putin said.
Speaking in Yerevan during his official visit to Armenia, Putin argued that the protests in Ukraine had been prepared by the opposition in advance to undermine the legitimate government of the country. However, it is “apparent” that the opposition had meant them to take place during the Ukrainian presidential campaign in March 2015, the Russian President said.
“What is happening now is a little false start due to certain circumstances… This all has been prepared for the presidential election. And that these were preparations, in my opinion, is an apparent fact for all objective observers,” Putin stressed.

Bomb blast rips through NATO convoy in Jalalabad, Afghanistan

A bomb blast has ripped through a convoy of US-led foreign troops in eastern Afghanistan.
The explosion, which happened in the city of Jalalabad, left at least one civilian dead. It’s unclear yet whether the US-led foreign troops suffered casualties. Earlier, an attacker tried to strike another NATO convoy with a bomb at the same location but he was allegedly killed by the foreign troops before reaching the target. Taliban have claimed responsibility for the two incidents. Attacks on foreign forces are still commonplace across Afghanistan over 13 years into the US-led occupation of the country.

The US’ and Britain’s military involvement in Afghanistan came to a symbolic end on Sunday. Operations in the country were officially ended, as they prepare to depart and handed over military bases to Afghan forces.The Afghan army and police will now largely be left to deal with having to fight the Taliban, after the allies ended their 13-year campaign.The US and the UK handed over their last bases to the Afghan forces, including Camp Leatherneck, which was the largest American base in Afghanistan. The British presented them with Camp Bastion, which was their headquarters during the conflict. Both military centers were located in the Helmand Province, which has seen some of the fiercest fighting during allied forces’ engagement.

A U.S. general has been killed in Afghanistan in what the Pentagon says is the latest insider attack by an Afghan soldier. Major General Harold Greene reportedly died after the soldier opened fire at a British-run military academy near the capital, Kabul. Up to 14 coalition troops were wounded. Greene was the deputy commanding general for the command involved in preparing the withdrawal of U.S.-led coalition troops at the end of the year.
The United States has been in Afghanistan, ‘the graveyard of empires for twelve years now. The end of it’s engagement is finally in sight, but the recent coupe attempt in the Ukraine and tension with Russia leaves me with doubt. Especially since the U.S. military has given up on the massive air base Manas, that served as a critical logistical hub for the Afghanistan war.
Even if America can withdrawal it’s more than 33,000 U.S. troops remaining in Afghanistan successfully, it will be leaving as a very much crippled nation, weakened by the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and expensive foreign entanglements, or military expenditures, in Syria, North Korea, Africa clear across the globe. Has America spread itself too thin, will the recent tensions with Russia prove too much, for the financially burdened nation, as it attempts a much needed withdrawal ?

Russia does not like or want America’s presence in Central Asia, and has been forceful in limiting the U.S.’s power in the region, like closing the Manaus airbase in Kyrgyzstan, a major transshipment point for men and material entering Afghanistan. Russia fears the anarchy that would follow a total U.S. withdrawal. To put it bluntly, Russia just wants the U.S. to deal with the mess it started.
Sergei Lavrov illustrates Russia’s position:“We supported an operation to eradicate the terrorist threat in Afghanistan, and added that attention should also be paid to the drug threat. And we assume that if the international forces have decided to withdraw, then they apparently think that they are ready to report to the UN Security Council about accomplishing their mandate, issued by the UN Security Council in 2001. And we, of course, are expecting such a report.”
A senior Pakistani government official told CNN that a full withdrawal of U.S. troops should not be considered, declaring that “the zero option means civil war in Afghanistan.”
Speaking on condition of not being identified, the Pakistani official predicted that 30% of Afghan forces would desert if U.S. forces leave the country.
For the Pentagon, Obama’s order means preparing for all contingencies.
“For the first time, the commander in chief has told us to begin planning for a complete withdrawal” from Afghanistan, a senior U.S. official told CNN.
While the option to keep troops there remains, the situation has reached a point where the Pentagon has to begin planning for all possibilities, the official added.
More than 33,000 U.S. troops remain in Afghanistan as the Obama administration winds down the almost 13-year war that began shortly after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The security agreement negotiated between Afghanistan and the United States would cover a continuing mission after 2014 focused on training Afghan forces and counterterrorism.
Does this scathing indictment of the systemic fraud and corruption in the mortgage industry, ultimately indict the greater global corporate governance system ? It’s all fraud, all facets of government along with corporate responsibilities implicated even the Justice Department in this complete failure and fall into corruption, right inline with the whole of our present day global corporate governance system and corroborating institutions financial, educational, spiritual or otherwise.
I would be remiss of good sense, not to take this opportunity to ask, can it all be fraud, down to our citizenry? Fraud is such that when one realizes, that they have been defrauded, they have no obligation to the entity doing the fraud and would be insane to continue on with the relationship inside the realized fraud. The truths, embedded below make the case for this. It means everything and nothing, as even the truth must be realized by the masses to hold weight. I suggest that we give power to this truth by informing others and doing our due diligence by researching the information further.
New York attorney general accuses Barclays of ‘dark pool’ fraud
(Reuters) – New York’s attorney general has filed a securities fraud lawsuit against Barclays, accusing the British bank of giving an unfair edge in the United States to high-frequency traders, while claiming to be protecting other clients from them.
News of the lawsuit, which relates to Barclays’ LX Liquidity Cross ‘dark pool’ alternative trading system, drove a 5 percent fall in Barclays shares on Thursday. It also hit shares in Europe’s Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and UBS as traders fretted about the possibility they could also be targeted.
The New York State attorney general’s lawsuit alleges that Barclays promised to get the best possible prices for customers looking to buy or sell shares but instead took steps that maximized the bank’s profits and executed nearly all of its customers’ stock orders on LX instead of on exchanges or other venues that might have offered better prices.

– A new internal report says the Justice Department massively overstated its successes in targeting mortgage fraud while in fact ranking it as a low priority for investigation. The Justice Department’s inspector general says despite playing a central role in the nation’s financial crisis, mortgage fraud was deemed either a low priority or not a priority at all. This comes as a recently revealed internal Wells Fargo document appears to guide lawyers step-by-step on how to fabricate missing documents to foreclose on homeowners. Wells Fargo is the country’s largest mortgage servicer and services some 9 million home loans.

Gender Women are barely represented among corporate leadership in the institutional elite and women only contribute roughly 20 percent in the political realm. They do appear more among top positions when it comes to cultural affairs, education, and foundations.
Ethnicity White Anglo-Saxons dominate in the power elite, with Protestants representing about 80 percent of the top business leaders and about 73 percent of members of Congress.

No Choice in the Matter ! My humble take, global warming ? Who knows, this could be a cycle, either way climate change is very real. Climate change is happening from my vantage point and has been happening for sometime now. On top of climate change, we at present are being caressed by Fukushima, a global catastrophe that we have yet to realize the implications of. The NASA funded study bellow, serves to confirm what we already know. The global industrial complex and it’s institutions, are killing humanity.

A new study sponsored by Nasa’s Goddard Space Flight Center has highlighted the prospect that global industrial civilisation could collapse in coming decades due to unsustainable resource exploitation and increasingly unequal wealth distribution.
Noting that warnings of ‘collapse’ are often seen to be fringe or controversial, the study attempts to make sense of compelling historical data showing that “the process of rise-and-collapse is actually a recurrent cycle found throughout history.” Cases of severe civilisational disruption due to “precipitous collapse – often lasting centuries – have been quite common.”
The research project is based on a new cross-disciplinary ‘Human And Nature DYnamical’ (HANDY) model, led by applied mathematician Safa Motesharrei of the US National Science Foundation-supported National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center, in association with a team of natural and social scientists. The study based on the HANDY model has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed Elsevier journal, Ecological Economics.
It finds that according to the historical record even advanced, complex civilisations are susceptible to collapse, raising questions about the sustainability of modern civilisation:
“The fall of the Roman Empire, and the equally (if not more) advanced Han, Mauryan, and Gupta Empires, as well as so many advanced Mesopotamian Empires, are all testimony to the fact that advanced, sophisticated, complex, and creative civilizations can be both fragile and impermanent.”
By investigating the human-nature dynamics of these past cases of collapse, the project identifies the most salient interrelated factors which explain civilisational decline, and which may help determine the risk of collapse today: namely, Population, Climate, Water, Agriculture, and Energy.

Class War on a Global Scale
As noted, all the schemes and wars of regime change, whether by the traditional military means or by the “soft” power of the global financial juggernaut, essentially represent one thing: a disguised class war on a global level, a relentless worldwide economic war by the one percent financial-economic oligarchy against the rest of the world population.
Class struggle in an economically-tiered society is of course not new. What is relatively new in the recent years’ war of the 1% against the 99% is its escalated pace, its widespread scale and its globally orchestrated character. While neoliberal austerity attacks on the living conditions of the public in the core capitalist countries began (formally) with the supply-side economics of President Ronald Reagan and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher more than three decades ago, the brutality of such attacks have become much more severe in the context of the current financial/economic crisis, which began with the 2008 financial crash in the United States.
Taking advantage of the crash (as an economic shock therapy, as Naomi Klein put it), the financial oligarchy and their proxies in the governments of the core capitalist countries have been carrying out a systematic economic coup d’état against the people the ravages of which include the following:
• Transfer of tens of trillions of dollars from the public to the financial oligarchy through merciless austerity cuts;
• Extensive privatization of public assets and services, including irreplaceable historical monuments, priceless cultural landmarks, and vital social services such as healthcare, education and water supply;
• Substitution of corporate/banking welfare policies for people’s welfare programs;
• Allocation of the lion’s share of government’s monetary largesse (and of credit creation in general) to speculative investment instead of real investment;
• Systematic undermining of the retirement security of millions of workers (both white and blue collar) and civil servants;
• Ever more blatant control of economic and/or financial policies by the representatives of the financial oligarchy.
Combined, these policies have significantly aggravated the already lopsided income/wealth distribution in these countries. The massive cuts in social spending have resulted in an enormous transfer of economic resources from the bottom up. The transfer has, indeed, more than made up for the 2008 losses of the financial speculators. In the U.S., for example, the wealthiest one percent now own 40 percent of the entire country’s wealth; while the bottom 80 percent own only seven percent. Likewise, the richest one percent now take home 24 percent of the country’s total income, compared to only nine percent four decades ago [4].
This shows that, as pointed out earlier, while neoliberal attacks on the 99% in the core capitalist countries may not seem as violent as those raging, for example, in Venezuela, Syria or Ukraine, the financial impact of such attacks on the living conditions of the 99% is not any less devastating.

It happens governments go rouge, they get over zealous and the line between good and evil becomes a blur. They criminalize their populations (drug war), incarcerate the truth tellers like Bradley Manning, silence their Wiki-leak critics, war perpetually, now against terror itself and kill with impunity. Obama today, holds every Americans right to life legally on the tip of his pen. This is not the worst of our problems here in America though. The true problem is that, this late in the game, I shouldn’t have to tell you this.

A free and informed American public would not have allowed for this to occur, in the first place. All four of your government Estates (branches) have failed us, succumbing to the corrupt corporate capitalist. Our fourth and lest known estate of government, a free and unbiased press, is neither, as it’s corporate ownership has directed it to work diligently to keep you blissfully ignorant. They have succeeded, as you see their media model/comedian personalities, as rock stars. As they see you, as dumb as a brick and laugh at you when not on air. I will not tell you to break your TV set, I will suggest that you turn it into a monitor for your computer (which is all they are anymore, in that no one needs a tv tuner).
The best advice I can give you is to distance yourself from your collapsing government and it’s institutions. Become self sufficient, using solar panels and other sustainable systems like aquaponics. Your government will not tell you this, as it is not profitable enough.
Lying today, is now moral and legal they call it spin. Bribery of your government servants, is now moral and legal they call it lobbying. I could continue but I wont.
